Brown Reunion Another Success

The 2011 Annual Brown Reunion was another resounding success this last weekend. Always well-attended, even without the outdoor grilling this year, Colony was packed with people. The cemetery was well-groomed, if dry from this worst of droughts. The food was delicious. The auction always entertaining.

I hope to instill in my children this wonderful tradition of bringing the Brown family back to Colony once a year, where we all started with
Samuel and Jane Ann Brown, and to honor our loved ones buried there.

Dan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1955, served his country in the U.S. Army, and worked for Baroid/NL Industries for 35 years until his retirement in 1992.  He was also an active member of Grace Community Church for 17 years.
